Travel Arrangements

For members traveling to meetings from outside of the Metro Vancouver region (map here), CUPE BC will cover the cost of accommodations and flights (if applicable). If you reside in the Metro Vancouver region but require accommodations to attend a meeting, please submit a request to the Division Office for approval.

The CUPE BC Division staff will book accommodations on behalf of Committee members. Please do not book your own hotel room, as the Division has room block and direct billing arrangements with specific hotel providers.

CUPE BC works with an external travel service provider (WE Travel) for all flight bookings. If you require a flight to/from Vancouver, please contact WE Travel at (604) 969-5585 or toll-free at 1-800-663-4703 to book your flight after completing this form. Please do not book your own flights, as the Division has direct billing and flight credit arrangements in place through W.E. Travel services.

PLEASE NOTE:

Committee business should be conducted using unionized vendors only. Members are kindly reminded to book all required flights via WE Travel, conduct hotel booking requests through the CUPE BC Division team, and use unionized transport services (e.g. Bonny’s Taxi, Yellow Cab, SkyTrain) to go to and from the destinations required for their Committee events.
